Maybe they were a little overdressed to really enjoy themselves in bed but having Dorian strip him down was half the fun. Bramen shifted again under his lover's attentions, craning his neck to steal another kiss as he lifted his hips from the bed. Teasing was something Dorian was all too good at - teasing, flirting, working with those hands of his. Even if there was still a chill to the air, there wouldn't be for long. The fire wasn't the only way the two of them knew how to warm up. They could be quite creative on that front.

"You can fix that easily enough," A chuckle came from the back of Bramen's throat, wrapping his arms around his mage, letting his hands glide down his back again, rubbing at the muscle there. His hands dipped further, calloused and firm as they moved down to the man's hips, slipping in beneath the waist of Dorian's own trousers.

He turned his head to start kissing along Dorian's jaw, nose brushing against his lover's cheek. "I like feeling your hands there," he murmured, enjoying the sensation of his partner's hands anywhere across his form, "Though I think I like your mouth even more."

"Swearing, pleading, begging for more - I do the same," he admitted, turning his head to kiss Dorian's forehead, smiling. He pulled Dorian a bit closer, warm bodies curled up together before he nuzzled against the man's hair, still damp from sweat. He was comfortable here in bed with Dorian, warm and relaxed now. A welcome change from how things had been earlier.

"And it turned out to be a fine evening," he murmured into his lover's hair, a hand lightly stroking down along Dorian's throat, "You always make it so."

He draped his arm over Bramen's stomach, his fingers idly tracing rune patters against his hip. "As dashing as you looked in that uniform I much prefer you like this."

This was his Bramen and no one else's. He didn't have to share him when they were together. Even out in the wilds of Thedas it wasn't the same as being wrapped around each other. "Though, I insist on a bath before we go to sleep."

Bramen also loved seeing Dorian like this - naked, exposed, wrapped in his arms. The elf stretched his legs out, sighing lightly as he allowed his legs to tangle with the other man's, cheek resting atop his head. "A bath could be nice," he murmured, smiling a bit. This was what he enjoyed most about time spent with the mage, being able to lay together freely, able to express themselves in this way. Affectionate, tender, warm. This was where he belonged, what he needed after such a long evening.

"We used to wash up in the river after a long hunt," he said with a small laugh, knowing how Dorian was when it came to hygiene. "Though the river was always cold - refreshing in the summers, not so much in the winter."

"I can't imagine the winters you lived through." Dorian gets a chill through him at the mere idea. He curled closer to Bramen, chasing away the phantom chill. "As much as I enjoy the mental image of you naked in a river I would not join you in the water."

Dorian is a spoiled brat and he knew that. He had no problem with it. He much preferred the huge soaking tubs of the city and he could warm it with magic for hours of simply enjoying the warmth. "I will wilt like a flower when you take me to meet your clan."

"I have a feeling Meallan is going to be relentless in his teasing when he meets you," Bramen couldn't help but laugh softly, kissing his lover's forehead once more. Both arms around Dorian's larger frame, Bramen still cradled the man against him leaning his head back and closing his eyes. "When this is all over and the weather is fair, I promise that's when we'll go - I won't subject you to a winter with a Dalish clan."

Dorian would never survive a winter in the wild. All the same, Bramen was too out of place in a city. Cities were easier to get used to though.

"But... A warm bath here at Skyhold is definitely a bit nicer than being in a river," he smiled, opening his eyes as he looked to Dorian. Warmer, cleaner and more importantly, they had Dorian.

"Will he be teasing you or me?" He hoped it would be Bramen getting teased because he was desperately worried about them accepting him and liking him. He didn't want to be someone Bramen was ashamed off. "That's a good idea. I'll do better in spring and summer."

It would probably be years before he took Bramen to Tevinter. He didn't want to go back when Bramen would be treated so poorly.

"Do you need me to wash behind those ears of yours darling?" He traced a finger along the edge.

"He'll tease us both," he laughed, sitting up a bit and bringing Dorian with him. He leaned in for a proper kiss this time, pressing his nose against Dorian's cheek and nuzzling again. Always content to have contact with him, always savouring what affection he could get. He pressed their lips together and let his hand run down the mage's shoulder and down his upper arm, smiling fondly.

"And you know I'd never turn down a little help getting cleaned up," A bath was sounding all too appealing now. "I have a feeling you wouldn't mind someone washing your back for you either."

Both he could live with. Dorian sat up with Bramen and leaned in eagerly when kissed. Kissing his lover would never get old and that smile was sweet and all for him.

"Back, front, sides, wherever you want to put your hands," he said as he slid off the bed and held out a hand for his lover. He was a mess but loved it when it was this context. "Come on, my darling. I won't go without you."

Bramen followed Dorian's lead, taking the man's hand and grinning at the possibilities. A warm and intimate bath together was definitely where he wished to be now, especially if it meant Dorian was going to pay closer attention to those ears of his.

At least if they got messy in there, they were in the right spot to clean up.

Bramen got a lot of perks for being the Inquisitor but the only one Dorian was jealous of was the huge smooth stone tub. He wanted it for himself with a few magical upgrades but it was good enough.

"Can we demand this be made in to marble?" he asks, looking over the tub. "Black marble with gold fleck and veins. How does that sound to you, darling?"

That was a benefit of being Inquisitor - he did have a private bath. A bath Dorian was always welcome to, whenever he could desire it. Right now though, it seemed the bath was just part of what spurred the mage's desire and that was perfectly all right by Bramen's standards. The pair made their way into the tub, sinking into the water once Dorian had heated it. The stone was hardly anything impressive-looking, simple rock dulled over time.

"Marble would be nice," he said with a bit of a smile, leaning over to kiss Dorian's cheek before he settled back, closing his eyes as he drank in the warmth from the heated water. "According to Solas, this place was originally created by the elves. I'd rather keep as much of that in tact as I can," he explained, though it was impossible to know whether this tub was original or if it had been added centuries later. Secrets they might never truly know.

He cracked open one eye and smiled fondly to the man. "Even if it were marble, I don't think I'd be able to take my eyes off you in order to appreciate it."

It took very little magic to warm water, barely testing Dorian's limits. He could keep it going for quite some time as well so they could take long soaks.

He settled in with a contented sigh, spread his arms across the edge of the tub and watched his lover in the water. It struck him again how handsome Bramen was. "Alright, keep your traditions. I will live with the tub being simple. We wouldn't want to become too ostentatious. We might as well be Orlesian then."

Dorian laughed deeply and held out a hand to his lover. "Come admire up close then, darling."

Bramen didn't need to be told twice. He smiled and moved away from the edge of the tub, drawing closer to where Dorian was resting. He swam to the man's chest, though moving across the tub was hardly a great feat. "Don't mind if I do," he murmured, pressing his chest to Dorian's own as he stole a kiss.

Sharing a bath had been a wonderful idea. he could stay here in the warm water and kiss his love all night if he wanted to. Though it was perhaps wise to wash up, to get clean before the pair retired for the night. Not that washing up meant they couldn't have fun, of course.

He turned away, moving to allow his back to rest against Dorian's chest as he leaned his head back against the man's shoulder. Bramen turned his head, catching a kiss to the side of Dorian's neck, laughing softly.

"Though now might be a good time to wash behind my ears, if you'd like to..." he pressed his nose against that neck, nuzzling against the skin, "And then I could do your back, wash your hair while I'm at it."

With Bramen settled in his lap and relaxing against his chest Dorian wrapped one arm around him and the other he drew a finger over the edge of his ear, slow and gentle.

"How sensitive are your ears?" he asked, rather curious because he seemed to really enjoy the attention. Dorian's ears weren't terribly sensitive. No more so than any other human. Perhaps the shape of Bramen's or the extra amount of them.

While he played with Bramen's ears he brushes his thumb about his stomach. They do still need to get clean but right now he likes lounging with his lover in his arms.

"Very sensitive," he replied, doing his best not to shiver from the feeling of his lover touching them. A feat easier said than done, keeping his eyes closed as he leaned a little into that touch. A light sound escaped him before he swallowed, continuing to speak.

"The first time you blew against one, it took me by surprise," he said with a smile, recalling a time he'd walked with Dorian through the Keep and the mage deemed it fit to tease him. "Though, the more you've been playing with them, the more I've gotten used to it," he cracked one eye open, reaching down into the water to rest his hand on Dorian's wrist, upon the hand that was stroking down his stomach.

"They do like to be kissed, however..."

"I think you like to be kissed in general," he teased and gently kissed the edge. They were both a fan of kissing. Dorian certainly loved each and every single one. "Not that I'm saying it's a bad thing."

He pulled his hand back so that he could catch Bramen's hand in his and tangle their fingers together. One day, maybe, he'd be able to say how his lover made him feel. He wanted to but the words still scared him.

He trailed soft kisses along his ear down to his neck and gently bit at his shoulder. He knew what his lover liked.

A light and content sigh escaped Bramen, pleased to have those lips at his neck now. He did like them on his ears, his cheeks, his shoulders - Dorian was right. He did like to be kissed everywhere. As the mage tangled their fingers together, Bramen lifted their hands out of the water and kissed the back of Dorian's hand, softly letting out a chuckle through his nose.

Dorian did know just what he liked.

"What about you?" he asked, turning his head a little and letting his nose brush his partner's temple. "Where do you like to be kissed the most?" his smile was fond, nuzzling a little against his partner, "Aside from everywhere."

He laughed softly as he rested his chin on his shoulder and leaned into his nuzzling. "I don't know as I have a favorite."

How did he pick a favorite when each kiss was special? No matter what Bramen kissed Dorian loves the attention.

"Perhaps it's the type of kiss I favor the most," he mused, rubbing his chin against his shoulder. "Your passionate kisses are wonderful. But... when you're gentle and sweet to me. I like those a great deal."

Those are the kind of kisses he's had very few of in his life. Dorian is very familiar with passion and sex but this intimacy Bramen shows him, the sweet love and affection, that is what he loves most.

Bramen closed his eyes, nose pressed to Dorian's temple before placing a soft kiss against his lover's cheek. "I like gentle and sweet," he murmured softly, letting his lips brush against his partner's skin. That smile stayed on his face, enjoying the closeness between them right now. Now that the passionate sex they'd just had wasn't incredible - it was - but sending time with the man after was just as important.

Bramen wasn't the sort to have his way with someone and then send them off. Dorian was more than welcome to stay here in his chambers as long as he desired - and often that meant until the next morning. Bramen had no issues with that.

"If it's that easy," he smiled, nuzzling his lover again, "I'll just keep doing what I always do."

That was what truly won Bramen Dorian's heart in the end. It was more than sex and using him. He cared and was sweet to him, allowing him all the affection and tenderness he asked for.

"Oh yes, all you need to do is be you." Dorian nibbles on his ear, biting gently. "I'm all yours."

And that's the truth. He's Bramen's through and through. There was not a single part of him that didn't belong to his lover. He rarely said it but that's the truth.

A shiver went through Bramen at the feeling of that mouth teasing him, the ear Dorian nibbled giving a faint twitch - just enough to be noticeable. He still held his lover's hand in his own, bringing them to his chest as he opened his eyes, looking over his shoulder as best he could at the mage - a task easier said than done, considering the attentions of Dorian's mouth against his ear.

He squeezed Dorian's hand, pressing it against his chest. "And I'm yours," he murmured quietly, glancing down at the way their fingers fit together so perfectly. He smiled fondly at the display before bringing Dorian's hand up again to kiss the back of it, nuzzling his nose against it.

"Ma emma vhenan'ara, Dorian. Ma serannas," Elvish murmurs again, even if his lover didn't fully understand it. There were few things Bramen craved more than the affections of the man behind him, the man he presently sat with.

The little ear twitch was the most adorable thing Dorian had ever seen Bramen do. He nuzzled his hair, hiding his grin in it. He thought sometimes he might go up in flames from how happy this one man made him.

"At least it sounds beautiful whatever you just said." He was going to learn so that he could understand fully but until then he knew it was good whatever Bramen had just said.

Bramen eased himself out of Dorian's lap, opting instead to turn around and face his lover, wrapping his arms around Dorian's neck and pressing a soft kiss against his lips. He pressed their foreheads together, looking his lover in the eyes, smile still warm and tender - a smile that was all Dorian's.

"Ma serannas, it means "my thanks"," he murmured, offering up a translation finally. "Vhenan'ara, that means "my heart's desire"... I said that you're all my heart desires, Dorian," he kissed the man again, touching the tips of their noses together.

"But I like to think that you already know that."

"It's nice to hear it in any language."

How could he handle it when Bramen said such things so easily. Dorian leaned up for another kiss, putting his feeling into the action because he was terrible at words. The physical was so much easier.

"Omnes enim vos cor meum," he offered softly, his lips brushing against Bramen's with every word.

Bramen closed his eyes and welcomed the kiss and those words that were brushed against his lips. he exhaled through his nose, dipping his head down to press his nose to Dorian's neck, once again opting to nuzzle against his partner. It felt nice to do so, warm and close to the other man. He loved to kiss, he loved to embrace, he loved everything about being near Dorian.

Even if he couldn't understand the words his lover said, something about them warmed his heart. He smiled contentedly, resting his head upon the man's shoulder as his hand came up to stroke the short hair on the back of his head. "Let me guess," he murmured quietly, a bit of playfulness in his tone. "Affectionate words in Tevene?" he opened his eyes, lifting his head up to lightly kiss beside Dorian's mouth, smile still playing there.

"Or perhaps a few curses?"
