Maybe they were a little overdressed to really enjoy themselves in bed but having Dorian strip him down was half the fun. Bramen shifted again under his lover's attentions, craning his neck to steal another kiss as he lifted his hips from the bed. Teasing was something Dorian was all too good at - teasing, flirting, working with those hands of his. Even if there was still a chill to the air, there wouldn't be for long. The fire wasn't the only way the two of them knew how to warm up. They could be quite creative on that front.

"You can fix that easily enough," A chuckle came from the back of Bramen's throat, wrapping his arms around his mage, letting his hands glide down his back again, rubbing at the muscle there. His hands dipped further, calloused and firm as they moved down to the man's hips, slipping in beneath the waist of Dorian's own trousers.

He turned his head to start kissing along Dorian's jaw, nose brushing against his lover's cheek. "I like feeling your hands there," he murmured, enjoying the sensation of his partner's hands anywhere across his form, "Though I think I like your mouth even more."

"Right, right, they choose you and your clans." He had been told that many times but Dorian hadn't really let it sink in. He had never dealt with animals extensively. Bramen kept bringing animals into his life.

He trailed the cloth down to Bramen's neck and shoulders, occasionally dipping it back into the tub to keep it wet and warm. He didn't want Bramen getting cold.

"Oh come now, you travel enough to give it plenty of adventure," he countered. Normally, he would argue against an animal because honestly there were enough around Skyhold but he wanted Bramen happy and if a dog would do it then well, he'd tolerate a dog. "You could send it exploring the mountains when you're tied up here. I'm sure they're smart enough to make their way home."

"They're smart but they aren't the same as a mabari hound," he said with a shake of his head, recalling the tales Varric had shared about the Champion's hound - how the dog could play Diamondback, would allegedly talk back to its master, could stroll around Kirkwall like it owned the place. Mabari hounds were almost too smart for their own good. Dalish hounds were just hounds, keen hunters but they needed a steady hand.

He shifted and let his head rest on Dorian's shoulder, enjoying the feeling of that cloth down his own, easing against Dorian's chest as he let the man wash him. "Besides - I have you for companionship," he said with a smile, eyes closing again, "And the harts in the stable, if I really want a taste of home."

"You just compared me to the companionship of a dog," he drawls, but he's clearly amused instead of offended.

Bramen didn't mean it that way but it was quite fun to tease that he did. Dorian adored him and his odd affection for animals.

He brought the washcloth around to clean Bramen's chest, humming appreciatively because his lover was the most handsome man next to him.

Bramen shifted a little as Dorian started to wash his chest, turning his whole body a little in order to give the man better access. Those eyes opened again, a hand coming up to touch Dorian's wrist as his lover washed him. "You're warm, you enjoy curling up in my bed, you like it when I lavish attention on you..." he grinned as he spoke, eyes opening as he looked to his lover. All traits of a pampered dog - or a rather spoilt cat. He stroked along the man's wrist and down along his forearm, craning his neck to steal another small kiss against his chin.

"I'd say there are worse things to be compared to," he lazily traced along Dorian's arm, idle and meaningless patterns. Some people might be offended at the thought of being compared to a dog but considered how Bramen seemed to adore animals, it couldn't possibly be a bad thing coming from the elf. He'd compared Dorian to a halla before too, full of pride and self-assurance, like a halla fawn that had just grown its first horns. Dorian could be many things - but what Bramen enjoyed most was that he was his.

"Though I think I'd prefer your company to a dog's," he assured the man, stealing another small kiss, "You keep me busy enough."

"Hmmm, I do like licking you too." He licked delicately at Bramen's throat, right over where his blood beat through his veins. Dorian was not a dog by any definition. He was much more suited to a cat but the Dalish didn't seem to have a care for the beasts. Bramen deeply cared for him. "Perhaps dog is an appropriate."

Now his hands traveled over Bramen's side, dragging the cloth with them. He didn't know what sort of animal he would compare his lover to. Perhaps the harts he was so fond of. He did have their wild nature. The desire demon thing was only a joke. His lover could never be a sin.

"I love your attention too much, it's true."

"And I rather like your attention too," he smiled, relishing in the feel of his partner's hands now. Dorian was always so good with them - and if this continued, they'd no doubt find themselves like they had earlier, exploring and enjoying one and other until neither man could take it any longer. Not that Bramen had any complaints about that.

"Though I should wash your back for you," he reminded the man, before Dorian got too handsy again. They were here to get clean, after all. Though there wasn't any harm in getting a little frisky, was there?

Perhaps it was Dorian who was the desire demon. They might never know.

"Bah, spoiling my fun." Dorian leaned up for a kiss and as he drew back he pressed the washcloth into Bramen's hand. "I didn't even wash my favorite parts of you."

His hand were about to stay towards Bramen's cock and that would have definitely distracted them away from washing and back into having fun together.

"Alright, spoil sport, off my lap and let me turn around for you."

"I promise, once we're clean, you can touch whatever part of me you like," he smiled, easing away from Dorian. He did want the man to touch him again, an almost selfish part of the elf wanted to laze about with the man here in the tub, let the man simply stroke him as they returned to murmuring affectionate things at each other. That was a fine way to spend time.

He eased back and took the cloth from Dorian, gesturing for the man to turn around, smiling all the while. "Settle back against me, let me wash you - and then we can have some fun." More fun. Everything with Dorian usually ended up fun in some manner.

"Whatever part I like, hm?" Dorian gave his lover a flirtatious smile as he turned around and leaned back against him. It would make it difficult to wash his back but he cared very little for the logistics.

He rested his head on his shoulder so he could watch him while he set about his task. "Some fun, you say. Whatever are you thinking in that devious mind of yours?"

Bramen started washing Dorian's shoulder and moving down his arm. Slow motions of the cloth, scrubbing him clean with a light hum as he chose to humour his lover. There would be time to wash his back properly, after he enjoyed every part of his lover's form. He turned his head a bit, pressing a light kiss against the man's temple.

"Whatever part you like," he smiled, dragging that cloth back up Dorian's shoulder and towards his neck, washing beneath his jaw and back towards the man's ear. "And in terms of what's on my mind..." he let out another soft hum, bringing that cloth down towards Dorian's chest. "I thought we could start things slow. Kissing-" he kissed the man's temple again, smiling in doing so, "Little, warm kisses. And of course a bit of touching-" he began to work that cloth in a circular motion around Dorian's chest, dipping it down towards the man's stomach and then back up, towards his collar and across towards the opposite shoulder.

"Kissing, touching, just see where it takes us."

Just like they'd chosen to see where things took them in the bed earlier.

As Bramen's hand and washcloth moved over him Dorian tilted his head and moved his limbs so that he had an easy time washing him clean. They did work up quite a sweat before.

"Kissing and touching two of my favorite things with you." He leaned up enough to kiss the underside of Bramen's jaw. It was such a lovely jaw, a strong one. "But you know that inevitably leads to us getting messy again."

Which Dorian had no problem with.

"At least we're in the right place if that happens," he said with a smirk, washing down Dorian's side as he welcomed those kisses along his jaw. They were distracting little kisses but they were precisely the kind he adored. He breathed out through his nose, idly rubbing the cloth in circles in the same spot, leaning his head back a bit to give Dorian better access to his throat and that jaw the man seemed to enjoy.

"Though I will admit," he began, shifting a little beneath Dorian now, dragging that cloth across his chest once more. "I did rather like the ideas you had earlier..." he murmured, that smirk still playing on his face, "About you being in my lap and straddling me..."

"Ahhh, so we're staying in the bath." Dorian chuckled softly and nuzzled against his throat. "Aren't you a clever little Inquisitor?"

There was a certain appeal to that. He trailed his fingers over the water to warm it a little more because if they stayed there longer it was going to go cold.

"I would be happy to demonstrate that idea. Especially if you allow me to turn around so I have an easier time kissing you." They had talked about kissing. It was important. Dorian would not be denied his kisses.

Bramen would never deny Dorian those kisses he craved. He wouldn't deny the man anything at this stage, even though it always seemed as though the man was just waiting for the axe to fall. Bramen turned his head and managed to brush his lips against his lover's cheek, lowering his arms to let the man turn around, after he heated the water a little more. The rogue settled a bit more against the tub, inviting the mage to turn around.

"Be my guest," he smiled, casting an inviting gaze in the man's direction. "I'd be happy to kiss you even more." Kisses, little touches, everything Dorian wanted. There was no need to rush, after all. The water would stay warm so long as Dorian allowed for it.

There was no invitation needed. The moment Bramen settled, Dorian turned around in his lap and leaned in to kiss him deeply.

"See how nicely I fit here?" He gestured with his hand to himself and then Bramen's lap. "It's perfect. As if I've sat here before. Done other things here before."

Oh, he's done a great deal sitting in Braman's lap. It was an enjoyable experience each time.

"We tend to fit perfectly, don't we?" the Inquisitor said as he returned that kiss, all too happy to have Dorian's face close to his own once more. He pressed their foreheads together, nuzzled noses for the umpteenth time and brought his arms back around the man, keeping him near. He pressed that cloth to his back now, slowly washing down from his neck to his shoulders, humming softly as he closed his eyes.

Despite their difference in size, Bramen found it easy to support Dorian's weight. Even if his frame was much smaller, that lean muscle held so much strength. Supporting Dorian's weight in his lap was no trouble at all. In fact, he adored the feeling. He adored everything about this man and everything he did. Everything they did.

"I think tomorrow," he began, stroking in slow circles down Dorian's back, scrubbing it clean, "We should take a walk in the courtyard. It feels like it's been a while since we've done that." A walk in the courtyard, hand in hand, ignoring the whispers. Not everyone approved of his lover, his Tevinter paramour - but Dorian was a good man. He'd make certain the world knew that.

"Though I think I'm content staying here in the bath with you right now," he opened his eyes, kissing beside Dorian's mouth with a light hum.

No lover he had ever had would do something as simple as walk hand in hand with him. It would be a shameful thing in Tevinter to be seen like that. Bramen did it without shame, without thinking he held Dorian's hand and looked happy about it. He didn't think his lover had any idea what that meant to him.

"Tomorrow is definitely better when the sun is up and it's relatively warm," he mused, dropping his head back so that his chest was proudly on display while Bramen washed his back. "I'm quite content here."

With magic to warm the water indefinitely they could stay until their whole body was covered in wrinkles from it. He planned to have some fun first. He ran his hands down Bramen's chest and left them resting low against his stomach. "Though, I feel as if I should do more for you somehow..."

"You do more than you realise," Bramen said with another kiss before dipping his head down to kiss at Dorian's throat, kissing down towards that chest. His hand continued to work the man's back, scrubbing and washing - though he could almost forget the cloth altogether at this point. It was fine just to rub and massage his lover, touches Dorian seemed to adore.

He kissed back up that neck, a smile on his face as he nosed beneath the man's chin. He was happiest seeing Dorian happy. That was really all these was to it. He didn't have a lot of experience in any of this but what Bramen knew was that he wanted this. He wanted Dorian - he wanted to spend time with him, he wanted to be with him, listen to him. Everything. Dorian was everything.

He sighed against his skin, dipping that cloth beneath the water, idly moving it across the small of his back. He turned his head, chosing to rest it upon his lover's shoulder, closing his eyes all over again.

"Just stay like this with me," Bramen murmured, another kiss against his lover. "Tell me what you like, what you want from me - and I'll do the same."

How was one man supposed to handle all this? Here was the Inquisitor, one of the most feared and respected men in Thedas laying his head on Dorian's shoulder and asking for nothing more than for him to stay? His heart felt like it was going to burst from the wealth of feeling.

"Is this all it takes to defeat the Inquisitor?" he teased as he nuzzled along Bramen's cheek. "A bit of hot water and an incredibly handsome man? If only the rest of the world knew how easy it was."

Yet, he would share none of this with the rest of the world. This was his and he would fiercely protect it from everyone. No one would be allowed to see Bramen at his most vulnerable, no one but Dorian and when the man wavered, he would lift him up. He would raise armies of the dead if that what it took to protect his lover.

"What a power I wield. All should fear me. Dorian Pavus, single-handedly defeated the Inquisitor by showing a little skin."

It was quite the power Dorian had over him. From the moment the Inquisitor had set eyes on the man, he'd been taken with him. He was truly handsome, a man who thrived on wit and pomp. To some, it might be seen as egotistical - but to Bramen, it was just a piece that made Dorian whole. He'd seen under that front the man put up, he'd seen the man in his weaker moments, offered him support and comfort. Dorian had done the same for him. For Bramen, it was an entirely new experience. Everything about Dorian made him crave a little more.

No other man had captivated him like this. He'd said it before - he simply didn't have words in the common tongue that described the way he felt.

He pressed another kiss to that neck, smiling as he laughed softly against warm skin. "All it takes to defeat me is you," he murmured. Clothed or undressed, laying against him or standing apart, Dorian was his weakness, completely and utterly. He dropped that cloth now, letting it sink into the tub as his hands moved to touch across that broad back, tracing designs across warm, olive skin. "Dorian Pavus - ma vhenan, ma sa'ath."

"Once again, using words I don't know. Horrible man." He had heard ma vhenan before. He was familiar with that one but ma sa'ath was new. He knew his lover wasn't insulting him but his desire to know always overwhelmed him. He wanted to know. "I do love to hear my name from your lips."

He leaned down and kissed Bramen deeply. He traced the shape of them with his tongue. Those lips said lovely things and did lovely things to him. He adored those lips, adored the man they were attached to.

Everyday it was harder and harder to remember that he had to one day return to Tevinter when all he wanted to do was stay wherever his lover was. How cold and empty his life would be without Bramen in it. Dorian did not want to go back to that sort of life.

"Maker, I already want you again," he laughed and bit softly at Bramen's lower lip. "What is it you do to me?"

"I'll tell you what ma vhenan means when you tell me what amatus does," Bramen teased, his hands moving down Dorian's sides now. Dorian wasn't the only one starting to feel aroused, especially not as their lips met all over again. Another content sound from his throat, hands resting against his mage's hips as his tongue slipped out of his mouth, brushing against Dorian's upper lip as the man bit his own.

"And... You do a lot of things to me too," he whispered, voice a quiet breath across Dorian's face, "And I adore every moment I have with you." Every glance, every smile, ever word spoken between them. He had no desire for this to come to an end - not ever. Not when he'd found something, someone who made him feel this way, who filled him with a joy he'd never imagined. It was so much more than physical attraction, that simply physical release.

He turned his head and began to kiss down Dorian's shoulder, exhaling against it as he dragged his hands back up the mage's sides, mouth curling into that smile all over again.

"As you said earlier, we do have all night..." and all morning if need be. Right now, the only things that mattered were them. Holes in the sky, the Inquisition, it could all wait a little while longer.

"I told you. It means beloved," he said with a laugh. In the right context it could also mean loved, in love with and all sorts of incredibly sappy things that he hated admitting to in Common. Tevene, at least, was so rarely spoken in the South he could get away with saying it freely and no one catching on.

He ran his fingers through Bramen's hair, tipping his head back so that he could kiss him lazily over and over and over again. They talked about kissing and Dorian simply wanted to kiss his lover again and again. Things could build slowly now.

He would not be denied his kisses or his man.

Bramen allowed himself to tilt his head back and expose his neck to Dorian, giving the man his opportunity to explore all over again. He smiled at the definition of amatus though, even if he'd pronounced it horribly when he'd tried to say it. Beloved. That was how he felt around Dorian, how he made him feel every moment.

"Vhenan means heart," he explained, eyes closed as he welcomed the feeling of those lips. "Ma vhenan means my heart... Which, I suppose could mean my beloved as well," he cracked his eyes open to try and steal a glance at Dorian's expression at that, always feeling his heart skip when the mage's eyes seemed to fill with warmth at hearing words like that.

He'd never tire of calling the man that.

His entire expression went soft when he heard the explanation. He never imagined he would be someone's heart or that someone would say it without hesitation and often.

"Your language is much softer than mine," he said softly as he leaned in for another kiss. "Yet, we both have the same devotion, the same passion for it."

He ran his hand down his neck and chest before he leaned in and bit hard at his neck because he knew what his lover liked and he loved to provide that. "I have a great deal of passion for you."
